Kafeteria is a family business, run by my husband, cousin, & myself. We first opened our doors in May 2006 as a café and coffee bar on the busy and vibrant City road, fifty yards from Old St station. We are open Monday to Saturday offering a range of breakfasts and lunch. Having travelled around extensively with my previous job, we prioritize seasonal ingredients to create dishes inspired by where we’ve been. And we are of course a bit biased toward our Mediterranean background and flavours.

We are very passionate about our food, which we prepare from scratch every morning (at 4am!). Our food ranges from freshly made salads, hot foods (which change daily), ciabattas, burritos, wraps, and sandwiches, Jacket potatoes & of course some home made cakes.

We also serve cold drinks, teas & Organic fair-trade coffee using a La marzocco coffee machine for extraction.

Our aim at Kafeteria is to offer a tasty , diverse range of food with a friendly and efficient service.
